George Zimmerman, a 28-year-old self-appointed neighborhood watch captain from Sanford, FL has been arrested and charged late Wednesday with second degree murder in connection with the February 26 shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, an unarmed African American youth returning home from a convenience store.
