Our Mission
CAHRO’s three primary objectives are aimed at strengthening the infrastructure of human relations organizations in California:
- To establish and support local and regional networks of human relations organizations
- To promote communication between local and regional networks of human relations organizations
- To build the capacity of organizations addressing human relations issues through information sharing, training, and technical assistance
CAHRO provides the following services:
On-site assistance to community organizations interested in organizing local and regional networks around the issue of hate violence and intergroup conflict resolution. Sponsors local, regional, and statewide symposia and conference to promote arenas of communication for those participating in human relations networks. Technical assistance and consultation On-site capacity-building training to organizations and networks Disseminates human relations and civil rights information through our quarterly news magazine, The Connection and through our website
